Introducing the Fall 2024 & Winter 2025 Teaching Assistant Awardees!

Twenty graduate student teaching assistants have recently been recognized with Department of Chemistry Teaching Assistant Excellence Awards, with thirteen new awardees this year. They are:

These awards are based on the strength of written support submitted by both undergraduate students and course instructors, with over 220 separate nominations received in total this year. They represent the exceptional work of tutors and laboratory demonstrators across eleven different undergraduate courses, from first-year to fourth-year: over 80 teaching assistants were nominated!

Many congratulations to everyone who taught so well again this academic year, and heartfelt thanks to members of the departmental Undergraduate Studies Committee who adjudicated the awards: Susha Chulliparambil, John De Backere, Andy Dicks, Jon Abbatt, Madeleine Gerbig and Nicole Treston.
