Professor Paul Brumer is set to receive an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Science from the University of Chicago. He is one of six distinguished scholars who will recieve honorary degrees at next year’s Convocation ceremony.

"I am delighted that our work, done in conjunction with colleagues, postdocs and students, has been recognized in this way," says Brumer.

"It is indeed a great honour. I am grateful that the University of Toronto's Chemistry department, and the Chemical Physics Theory Group in particular, has provided an extraordinary environment in which to tackle challenging research problems."
