Molly Sung shares the "virtues of volunteering"

September 26, 2019 by Dan Haves

Molly Sung, a PhD student in the Morris Group, was featured by the Chemical Institute of Canada (CIC) this month. Molly, who has volunteered for CIC's Toronto Section for the last four years, talks about the ways her time there has impacted her, but also the ways in which she's been able to make a difference as well.

"As graduate students, we’re always told to 'network, network, network' and I can’t think of a better way I could have done it," says Molly. "I don’t know for certain that the work I’ve done with the CIC will directly translate into a career, but I know that I’m now armed with skills and experiences that will help me in my future workplace."
