Prof. Molly Shoichet a member of the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering and a member of our department is being recognized by the NSERC Gerhard Herzberg Canada Gold Medal for Science and Engineering for her research on regenerative medicine, tissue engineering, drug delivery, and the use of 3D hydrogels. Beyond her research, Prof. Shoichet has also been a passionate advocate for science, science communication, and translational initiatives.
