A materials development start-up headed by Professor Alán Aspuru-Guzik has been named one of 10 “start-ups to watch” by Chemical & Engineering News.

Kebotix is a start-up fronted by Aspuru-Guzik and four other scientists with experience in the private and entrepreneurial sectors.

Kebotix specializes in working to develop and discover new materials through an AI-backed process that is more efficient than manual materials development. Called a “self-driving lab,” Kebotix is powered by artificial intelligence and robotic automation in order to accelerate the discovery of new chemicals and materials that may be able to tackle some of today’s most urgent problems.
