Chemistry Undergraduate Excellence Awards announced for 2022-23

The Undergraduate Studies Committee of the Chemistry Department is proud to celebrate the achievements of 26 students who will be the recipients of 18 different awards for the 2022/23 academic year, according to Professor Andy Dicks, the committee's chair.

This fall, the department of chemistry welcomed 65 incoming graduate students who will be pursuing their research interests at our UTM (Mississauga), UTSc (Scarborough) and St. George (downtown) campuses.

Interview: Therapy Dogs bring Sunshine to Chemistry in November

The Department of Chemistry played host to therapy dogs Abi, Merlin and Emily from Sunshine Therapy Dogs in the Davenport Atrium this November as part of a program run by Working Towards Inclusivity in Chemistry Toronto (WICTO).

Thursday 12th October saw a very successful "Meet The Profs" event for our undergraduates in the Davenport Atrium. Fifteen faculty members attended along with over forty students: some of whom are part of our departmental Second Year Learning Community.
