Biography
Dr. Grace Flock received a PhD in Medical Science and an MHSc in Occupational and Environmental Health and Safety, both from the University of Toronto. Her undergraduate studies at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina were in the field of Pharmacy; she spent 15 years conducting biomedical research into diabetes and metabolic disorders.
For more than a decade Grace has specialized in research operations management, focusing on the implementation of biological, chemical ,and radiation safety programs in addition to laboratory design and building infrastructure management.
As Chief Administration Officer for the Department of Chemistry, she has developed a comprehensive Health and Safety Program. Additionally she oversees human resources, teaching and research administration, operations, building renovations, and infrastructure.
Grace is also a mixed media artist, and her work is characterized by an intuitive and exploratory journey, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in a world of color, texture, and imagination.
