Areas of Interest

My research concerns electophilic intermediates of common organic reactions, the carbocation intermediates of SN1 reactions and electrophilic aromatic substitutions and nitrenium ions of relevance to aryl amine carcinogenicity. I am no longer active in experimental research. I am currently interested in the analysis of reactivity in electophile-nucelophile combination reactions, for which there is now a large body of published data.
